![]() ![]() I'm giving this book five stars, but I would give it 4 ½ stars if I could because I couldn't really identify with the main characters and I didn't like it as well as the last MaryLu Tyndall book (Veil of Pearls). It wasn't my favorite of MaryLu Tyndall's but it was amazing! I found myself very fascinated by characters that weren't the main characters, but they will be in the next book, Elusive Hope! I recommend Forsaken Dreams to anyone who enjoys historical romance fiction. Will they arrive safely? Join a voyage to Brazil and ride the high seas With Blake and Eliza in Forsaken Dreams. The first volume of a political treatise that changed the world One of the most notorious works of modern times, as well as one of the most influential. One thing to bear in mind, it does take some time to get used to Marx's writing style but after that, and once you are past the two hardest chapters (1 and 2) it becomes more fluid to understand his theories - not to say that the first two chapters are too difficult just a bit more than the others. In fact I think the world would be better if everybody understood it. If you have any economic, political or philosophical interests, I would highly recommend it. Rather than spend his time explaining what Socialism should look like, he goes into detail fully analyzing Capitalism, the contradictions within it and where we must stand in order to conquer it.
